Note
If you encounter any issues when setup our smart bulbs:
1. Check if the Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz. For a dual-band router, you have to manually disable the 5GHz Wi-Fi network and connect your phone to the 2.4GHz wifi network when set up. Once the lights are set up, you can continue to use the 5Ghz network on your phone or tablet.
2. Use AP mode (Lightbulbs blink rapidly) to pair them.
3. Disabling several other devices when set up will help connect the bulbs. Generally, for the household router, the best it can do is to connect 20-30 smart devices including smartphones, smart bulbs, etc. Once the router is overloaded, smart devices will go offline very easily or just can’t be connected.
4. Download the WIFI Analyzer to check the strength of the Wi-Fi signal in the room where the Wi-Fi smart bulbs are installed.
5. Go to the ‘Help Center’ on the smart life app for troubleshooting.
6. A WIFI booster/extender will be very helpful if the bulbs are not physically close to the router or several walls in between. Many factors will affect the strength of the Wi-Fi signal. For example, there will be signal dead spots when the Wi-Fi signal passes through walls, doors, and obstructions, resulting in inconsistent signals in all four corners of the same room.
7. These bulbs support app/voice command dimming but won’t be compatible with normal dimmers. Please DO NOT install the bulb on a dimmer.
8. The bulb compatible with the Siri shortcut but doesn’t support Homekit, so it can’t work with homepod.
